my my...lazy me :)

Didn't realize how time flies when you're busy :)...I haven't been writing for more than 4 months now...mostly because I'm too lazy...lazy to write, lazy to crochet and lazy to get online once home.

Emma's picture was finally published by Ayahbunda magazine, she appeared on both the magazine and book edition.

Emma is almost 1 year old :) she was only a tiny baby 1 year ago... and she's an active drooling baby who crawls everywhere she likes...oh and she loves her pink duck bike, donated by her cousin, Claire hihihihi :)
Yes...she's grown some hair, though not long and still spikey like his dad's :) and yes...people still mistook her for a boy...though she's obviously wearing pink (other times I put her on neutral colours, so I can't blame them).

We left her for 2 horrible weeks to visit Patrice in the US for her graduation.  It was the longest 2 weeks in my life.  Never thought I'd cry on the plane thinking of Emma nor did I expect not enjoying the US.  Francis and I both feel that our lives now revolve around our little angel :).  This time, when we went to Woodburry Outlet, I bought nothing for myself (well, mostly because I'm pregnant and could not fit into anything nice) and bought a luggage full of clothing for Emma hahahahaha they're so cheap and extremely cute.

o how u've grown

It's true what all my friends have said about having babies...once they start crawling...HEADACHE...When you've past 40 days, you're getting used to having a baby and once you've passed 3 months, you're an expert and once you've passed 6 months, you'd wish you have a newborn hahahahahahha. Em can now struggles standing by herself, has her daily routine and an excellent eater. It used to be so hard feeding her until the day I mixed sweet corn to her food and cheese..now, she will start getting cranky around 12:30 and 5:30 pm asking to be fed hahahahahahaha.

happy 6th month :)

Baby Em is now 6 months old! How time flies :).  As I was looking at her newborn pictures, I was amazed at how different she looked and how small she was.  She used to have such thick black hair...no longer now :(...I guess her head grew bigger but her hair won't grow more :) hence the BOTAK head :) hahahahaha.  She was only sleeping and eating just a few months ago...and now, she's a happy, active baby!  She could lift her body up high, can try to reach for her parents and nanny when carried by others, she's also starting to recognize people and hate sudden crowd :|. She could crawl just about everywhere she wishes, has one tooth and teething just about everywhere else *headache!* and is being potty trained :).  I love you, babe!

I was bored at Mom's house today and since mom had some bananas, I thought I let Emma tried some and she totally loved it :) she even grabbed my hand a few times as if telling me that I was too slow and wanted some more, quick!! :D

emma's flu

Last week was hell! Our Emma was and still is sick!! All because of meeeeee...I caught this terrible flu after a tiring WIC Bazaar (I guess carrying Emma with a sling for 2 hours wore me out). She's been waking more often at night and had a bit of temperatures for the first 2 days. I took her to the doctor and she was such a good girl, she was actually a happy sick baby but I think because we've spoilt her by carrying her too much...she now becomes a cranky baby!!! Oooo She finally turned 4 months :) and ready for her next immo.

3/4 turn

Yesterday, Emma can do almost a full turn :)...she's still struggling to free one of her hands :) from underneath her body....I'm so excited!! Still...after she turns, she'd cry asking us to turn her back :) She's grown too fast :D

emma turned 3 months

Emma turned 3 months on October 3rd, 2007 :D...how time flies...she can now coo and talk by herself when she wakes up in the morning and sleeps longer at night (around 9-5) and her wake time has increased!! which means I have to play and entertain her more!!! We played peek a boo today and she was gigling so loud :D...I've also re-introduced her with her old baby gym...and she seems to be interested in it now. She would stare at all the toys I hanged and would sometimes smile...it looks as if she's exploring all these new and very different toys :D from the ones she's seen before :D.

3 months also means she no longer enjoys her "magical" swing chair that would usually puts her to sleep!! and hates being put into her swing combi chair!!! She now arches her back when she's bored and cranky and constantly eating her hands which drives me NUTS!!! She's grown taller and is now 61 cm and weighs 5.63kg :D and drinks more milk than before though still at her own pace. Her neck is getting stronger and her thighs are longer and chubbier as well as her cheeks :) and she's much more interactive than before. How we love you very much, Em!

growing

I really think Emma looks so much like her dad!!!! Specially her nose :D...At first, I didn't trust what my mom and other people would tell me...DON'T BUY TOO MUCH CLOTHING FOR EMMA because she will outgrow them very fast :D...I guess they're right..already she has outgrew a few of her old outfits, specially her 3 months outfits so I've started dressing her for 6-12 months...I couldn't believe my eyes when this cute little pink outfit from Meiltrine fits her perfectly! It's a mixed feelings of happiness and sadness, happy because she's grown bigger but sad because soon she will outgrow this cute little outfit and many of her other cute outfits!

I'm always amazed how my breast milk has enough ingredients and nutritions to keep her growing each day and actually satisfies her hunger...I've been pumping day in and day out...just like a cow...and thankfully, my milk still overflows...more than enough to feed her in one day :) though I can't wait until she starts eating solids so that I don't have too pump at night!!

I'm very happy that dad had finally made me a bathing table, so I don't have to sit on the floor to bathe her anymore!!! She's getting heavier and if I keep sitting on the floor to bathe her, I know I'll get backache soon enough! :D...She is now longer than her bathtub :D...she used to be so small that we bathed her in this very small "ember" back in Brisbane and now she's longer than the normal sized tub! yay! how time flies, I guess...

emma is growing

Emma is almost 3 months and we've been noticing that nowadays, her long pants always fall under her belly, thus concealing her protruding tummy :D..and so, today we went to ITC Permata to get some new outfits for Emma.

While Francis was away on his business trip yesterday, he gave me a call while Emma was relaxing in her combi chair with her FINGERS in her mouth, so out of my curiosity, I decided to put the phone on Emma's hand (which she held on her little hand) and asked Francis to talk to her on the phone and when Francis started talking, she was listening and smiling..so cute :)...

I think she's on growth spurt since she's been demanding for more feeds, though the intake might only be 30-50ml but when she's hungry, she could finish 100-150ml and manage to make us very happy with her good drinking habit, we hope she could keep up with the feeding :D
